Have you ever dreamt of playing B2B with house music royalty?
Well for Swiss DJ Suark, this dream became a reality.
He shares the story on That DJ Podcast.
“The best night I’ve ever had with another DJ – quite famous – is DJ Q,” he said.
“He’s the DJ for Barbara Tucker.
“OK. Barbara Tucker is the Queen of house music and she tours always with DJ Q and we became very good friends and we had a crazy night in Cannes during Midem, which is a conference for publishers, is a business to business conference in Cannes.
“And we performed in this beach club named Annex and we had such a good night.
“We just played old-school house music records and we’re just like trying to pull out the craziest record and the other one will be like ‘what? what is this? You have to give it to me’ and the whole night was like this and we had such a good night.
“That was amazing. It was amazing. It’s one of my favourites. Every time we see each other we just like we just go back in memory to that night.”
